Booking & payment terms

1. Confirming your booking

• Your booking is confirmed only after we receive a 50% advance payment of the agreed trip price.
• Until the advance is received, hotels, vehicles and guides are not held for you.

2. Balance payment

• The remaining 50% balance must be paid before you arrive in Bhutan. It cannot be paid on arrival.

3. SDF and visa / permit fees

• Bhutan’s Sustainable Development Fee (SDF) and visa or entry-permit fees are paid in full at the visa / permit stage, as required by the official rules. They are not part of the 50% advance split.

4. Validity of quotes

• Every rate we quote is valid for the period stated in our quote. After that date, prices may change (hotel, vehicle or government fee changes).
• Prices shown as estimates on this website are not a quote. The rate in our written reply is the one that counts.
• Rates vary by season. Trips in the off-season (December–February and June–August) cost less than trips in the peak season (March–May and September–November). If your trip crosses both seasons, each night is priced by its own season.

5. Payment methods

6. Cancellation policy

• Cancellation charges and deadlines: to be confirmed.

7. Refunds

• How and when refunds are paid (including SDF and visa fees, which follow the official refund rules): to be confirmed.

8. Changes to your trip

• We’ll do our best to accommodate changes after confirmation; any price difference will be confirmed with you in writing.
